Sampler (Leftover) Container Candles.

We all have those recycled jars from our kitchen. Pickle jars, spaghetti sauce jars, etc. I combine recycling my jars, and those donated to me, into what I call Sampler or Leftover candles.

Many times when making a custom order I make a small amount of extra wax in case it’s needed. Hard to match the same color in a much smaller batch of wax later if you needed to do so.

So if I don’t need these extra batches of wax, I pour them into layers in the extra jars I keep wicked and on hand. If I am in full production mode with many orders, I lots of times can’t keep up with what each layer is scent wise. So I don’t know what’s in the jars other than they are very pretty and totally unique. I could be working on candles in 3 different scents, but all the same color, say blue. Other times I save the bits of wax and when in down time I’ll melt them and pour them in a specific color/scent scheme.

I have some for sale and will take pre-orders for them as they become available. This is not something I always have on hand and they go quickly to local friends when I have them. These are made specifically with either Palm or Paraffin wax. These jars, depending on size will burn from 60 – 100 hours. The paraffin ones will last a bit longer in burn time due to my wax blend.
